Diagnosis and Management of Hypernatremia.

Hypernatremia is serum sodium level above 145 mmol/L. It is a commonly encountered electrolyte disturbance. 

 A major symptom is thirst; other symptoms include confusion, neuromuscular excitability, seizures, and coma.
